Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MC-Servers.io (the "Site"), operated by Vantlir, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

MC-Servers.io is a Minecraft server discovery platform that allows users to browse, search, and vote for Minecraft servers. Server owners can submit their servers for listing, and optionally purchase premium or sponsored placement. We also provide free tools including a server status checker, skin viewer, MOTD generator, and banner generator.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features (such as submitting a server or managing a listing), you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Server Listings

When you submit a server listing, you represent that you are the owner or an authorized representative of the server. All free server submissions are subject to review and approval by our team. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including but not limited to listings that contain inappropriate content, are fraudulent, violate any laws, or violate Minecraft's EULA.

Server owners are responsible for ensuring their server descriptions are accurate and up to date. Misleading or deceptive listings may be removed without notice.

5. Voting

Users may vote for servers once every 24 hours per server. Vote manipulation, including but not limited to using bots, proxies, VPNs to circumvent cooldowns, or incentivizing votes through deceptive means, is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to reset votes and suspend accounts involved in vote manipulation.

6. Premium and Sponsored Plans

Premium and sponsored listings are paid services. Payments are processed through Stripe. All sales are subject to our refund policy: refunds may be issued within 7 days of purchase if the service has not been substantially delivered. Sponsored slot availability is limited and subject to change. Pricing may be updated at any time, but existing subscriptions will honor their current rate until renewal.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any illegal purpose; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent server listings; manipulate votes or rankings; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site without permission; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers; impersonate any person or entity; upload malicious code or content; or use the Site to distribute spam or unsolicited messages.

8. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Vantlir and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. MC-Servers.io is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any server listed on the Site. Your interaction with any server is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vantlir and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to your Minecraft server or account.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vantlir and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Site at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
